Sometimes letters come in that are too delicious to answer in the “Letters to the Editor” column, such is the case with the missive that was faxed this Monday by Michelle Hufcut protesting what she (and no doubt her handlers) sees as unfair treatment. Remembering Ed Connelly

Thursday night, Ed Connelly, known to most people around the area since his days as a member of the WHPD, lost his battle with several medical problems. At 72, the once burly, outspoken union chief passed away in a near coma, barely able to acknowledge his wife, Marge or their children. If there is such a thing as Purgatory on Earth, Ed – and Marge – went through it.
