Mr. Neil C. Cavallaro, Superintendent of Schools, has announced that Kindergarten Registration for children entering the West Haven Public School System for the next school year will be held on the following dates:Seth Haley School, 146 South Street, 931-6810, Thursday, March 18; Savin Rock School, 50 Park Street, 931-6850,Friday, March 19; Molloy School, 255 Meloy Road, 931-6830, Wednesday, March 24; Thompson School, 165 Richards Street, 931-6870, Thursday, March 25; Mackrille School, 806 Jones Hill Road, 931-6820, Friday, March 26, Pagels School, 26 Benham Hill Road, 931-6840, Tuesday, April 6; Forest School, 95 Burwell Road, 931-6800, Thursday, April 8; Washington School, 369 Washington Avenue, 931-6880, Thursday, April 8.

Registration will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 2:30 p.m. at all schools. Please contact the schools for appointments.

The child must be five years of age on or before January 1, 2011 and must be accompanied by a parent or another adult in order to register for Kindergarten. A copy of the child’s birth certificate, social security number, immunization records, and two proofs of residency are required.

The Board of Education Special Education Preschool Office is accepting applications for typical children who are ages three and four years old and residents of West Haven between the dates of March 1, and May 28, 2010.
